Thinking I should have got this guy a friend, hes gonna get lost in the tank i'v got set up for it! Smaller than I thought it would be. Maybe i'll order a couple more for next week.

Don't worry about him getting lost! You could always find a really tiny bell to tie around him, like some sort of tiny kitten!

Kidding of course, but seriously, your Marurus looks excellent, and I might have to order one of those fellas.

cheers mate, ha I don't think he'd appreciate me tying a bell round him but the scorp version of a bell will come in handy, a blacklight lol

The Maurus is really quick, I don't think its adult yet.

Hmmm think we are gonna hve to invest in a blacklight too they are tiny lol really hard to find them also had to change the housing we had planned as they would have been able to escape through the air holes.... Great pics yr madras is probably a sibling of our 5 .... Like the maurus might have to get me one of those lol...

I'v found the blacklight comes in handy for all my scorps to be honest as viewing is best done at night in the dark. I just give a quick flash from a distance because I don't think shining it on them for long periods is very good for them. I found some low watt ones in maplin. A small torch comes in handy too.

Yeah its highly likely our madras' are siblings. Will be good to see how they grow in comparison, on their own and in a group.

Will go have a look in maplin then thanx... Have been looking around but the ones I found seemed quite expensive, do you know how big these madras get?
