i think that i should be able to sell them to the public [the mentally stable public] without a licence or permit because they are not in the buthid family and there sting only equals that of a hornet so they are not very dangerous

I don't think you will -- it's nothing like the laws over here about stick insects. To the best of my knowledge the only regulated scorpions are Buthids, and you wouldn't be able to sell them without first having a license to own them. So, if it's something you bought legally, you should be able to sell it legally.

The only reason I dont want to sell mine to a shop...is that I dont know who would buy them *also would the correct care be given* as I worry about them being used for arachnid sport
But i imagine too that any not under the buthid family could be sold private sale

i was going to try to sell my pandinus imp scorplings to a pet shop where i got pinchy but they say they cant take them its reeaally annoying. im gonna put some adds in the yellow pages i think.

Yeah, some stores only take them from the importers. The point of captive breeding is so they won't need to!

Dunno about that, I never asked. They said they'd be willing to buy AGB babies from me, though. (Then I never had babies.) But my local petstore is your 6000-miles-away pet store.

well eddy, i know a woman who goes too the pet store and she says she will take them i wont charge her anything,i just want the scorps taken good care of.

well then that make me a happy panda. Just make sure you let her know how to care for them properly.
