ok so I have a 130 gallon acrylic tank that used to be used as a salt water fish tank... It was given to me years ago... but when I got it I noticed the tank was a little foggy looking.... now that I have more time.. I would like to make it clear again... now if you mist the tank it goes clear so I'm assuming it's small scratches... I posted pic of the tank and it's inhabitant on the snake board.... you can see the slight fog in the pics... anyway what I was wondering is is there a way to safely polish the inside of the tank? if so what is it? remember this tank is setup and i would rather not to do full tear down... the tank is 6 feet long and 18" deep both the other directions so this is a lot of area to polish ...
well the more I look around the net the more I find... I was hoping for an easier way then using a compound polish and buffer and I found out about flame polishing... which to me seams like it would be quick and safer then a compound inside the tank.... have any of you tried this method?
