I found a desert Hairy and decided to keep him, anyway hes not eating, Ive had a cricket in the tank for 3 days now and its still in the tank, Ive given her water which she seems to enjoy that.

She seems to be spending most of her time moving sand around shelters and digging tunnels under rocks.

Also what should I be keeping the temp of the tank?

Ive also read some threads about keeping hummidity in the tank with water and some kinda different sands, should I be doing this, I live in Arizona.

It probably won't eat until its settle in properly which I would guess would be a couple days since it started burrowing.

I wouldn't increase humidity as you risk giving it mycosis. I personally would provide a water dish one day a week.

Scorpions can also go months without feeding for no apparent reason and with no apparent detrimental effects.

never heard of desert hairy as a first species but good luck any way. keep the humidity down. leave him to settle in first it was very rare to see my scorps in within the first couple of weeks of me getting them. scorpions can go a very long time with out eating they will do it for no apparent reason. i wouldent worry to much because he will eat when hes hungry and wont just starve himself.
