| Lychas mucronatus may look similar but definitely not like this If u observe, they have dark triangle tone on the carapace, patella and the 5th metasoma which is lack of in the picture he posted | |

| yeah true.. interesting though. so could it be the same subspecies? or could it just be the scorpion itself?? may i ask where in singapore did you find this though. it looks like an interesting specimen. i have 2 H.Spinifer adults and 13 2instar scorplings. what other scorpions do you keep as i do know that it is illegal to keep them in singapore. | |

| Evilpigz why do you keep beliving its a totaly differnt scorpion?
I say its pretty clear that its Isometrus sp. you might wanna google some pictures and taking a closer look on the scorpions before saying anything.. And since scorpions is exported from Asia and i belive they allso got scorpion farms in Singapore i highly belive that its legal to keep them.

| its illegal in singapore to keep scorpions :/ ig you get caught you'll get fined and stuff... many things are illegal in singapore. they do not allow you to catch and keep wild animals. it kinda sucks... | |

| i read that you need permits to sell but not keep... they have a list on what animals you are allowed to keep and what not allowed to keep but scorpions are not on either so i guess to me that its fine to keep em | |

| Evilpigz - Different nations have different rules & regulations as to what you can keep, import & export etc.
For example in the UK you can keep plenty of animals and scorps but you need a DWA licence to own a scorpion in the buthidae family or other animals considered "potentially life threatening".
I'm sure that it is legal in Singapore as well to keep scorpions because as what has already been said, many scorps come out of there.
