Well all you need to do is keep the temp at 80. For humidity, if you have a forest genus of scorpion or such, pour water on the substrate and that will take care of it.

Yeah, just pour some water onto the coco fibre substrate so that it is damp but not soaking and that will provide perfect humidity for about a week or two.

Does your apartment get cold during the daytime or during the night time?
If it's a comfortable temperature for you, it probably will be for your scorpion. They can do well in 70-75 degrees F.
The humidity from the lake is probably beneficial to the scorpion as they are a forest species.
However, if you wish for a more active scorpion, raising the temperature does help.

If you still feel uneasy, I suggest buying a clamp lamp and heat bulb.
If you wish for more information on this, ask and I'll let you know.

I use those ceramic heaters to heat mine. They last along time, and don't produce any light which is nice. My apartment gets cold.

red heat bulb on a thermostat is how i heat mine - just set the thermostat to desired temp and leave it be - comes on when temp drops then starts to dim when temp rises - past few days its been warm so it hasnt even come on

Spare bedroom with its own heater. Very Happy

Gets awful dry, though.
