Subject: Beardie tanks finally finished! 5/15/2010, 7:09 am
Hello all. Just thought id show you guys these fake rocks iv been making for my beardies. Something similar on a smaller scale may work for scorpions. I dunno but they took me a while to make. Heres the 3 stack and the 3 inhabitants.
Top: young male
Middle: maturing male
Bottom: 8yr old female
I've had them all since babies. Im done with the tanks now hence some spare time for scorps! And so a new collection starts the other side

Haha yeah they do actually, I think its the shiney PVA i used to seal it all up. Has to be cleanable.
Thanks, there not that difficult to make or costly just time consuming. Iv seen alot better and more realistic ones, I just made these to maximise the space in the tanks with two levels. This guys site is really good but I had to use some different materials here in the UK.

Awesome! We've got a baby beardy and might be buying our friends' gigantic tanks that are similar to yours . . . Hmm . . .

Check that site out Mr. Mordax there's some really good ideas on there and how to videos. I personally like his Tarantula haunted house looks a nightmare to make though.
The male in the middle is always tearing up and down, headbobbing and foot stomping the rocks take it well but the plants take a battering! Does make a low maintenance viv with tiled floors and wipeable rocks.
