Is 92 degrees too hot?

Bought a heat lamp and the temp is 92, is that too hot?

what species of scorpion are you using it for?

edit : I turned off the heat in my apartment, which I was using to keep the tank warm, and the temp has come down to 90.

edit 2 : I got it around 86-88

Uhhh yeah thats way too hot... considering there from africa and not from the desert...

doesnt africa have a gigantic desert in it? ya know, where the pyrimids are?

as far as the temp, would say warm but ok as long as you have a cool side that has a hide as well as a hide on the warm side. it will go to where it is comfortable

pretty much same as a lizard (if youve ever owned one or considered owning one) i have a bearded dragon and he just goes to where he wants, he can bask or sit in his watering dish/pool. they get make thenselves comfortable where they like.
