| Pandinus cavimanus are aggressive.
Hadrurus arizonensis are ready to attack/sting prey at every opportunity they get.

| FThey are good sized for Vaejovis. Bout the same as average C. vittatus. Very aggressive. Very fast. Desert sp. Reported to squirt venom when tonged sometimes. I had a mother give birth this last summer. Seem hardy to me.

| You have any for sale and how do you set up a five gallon because don't they need a cool and warm side? I would think the tank would all be warm | |

| Not right now. I plan to go hunting in the desert once it warms up a bit. I've been going out here now, but its so cold, they aren't out. I was literally black lighting an hour ago. But Yeah, hopefully within a month. They can handle warm and cold. It's freezing or near it now there. There probably in deep burrows that are a bit warmer, but not real warm. During the summer it gets 100+, maybe 110 there. But again, they are in deep burrows where it's a little cooler. I would aim for winter temps whatever you like. Summers should probably be a little warmer, unless you like it hot. I would keep their cage no higher that 90* F though. | |

| hey if you want to buy some desert species try this site: http://www.shopspiderpharm.com/servlet/Categories?category=Scorpions
it's the cheapest I've ever seen for H. arizonensis and spinigerus
I also suggest a tropical species as a starter too. I think they're more fun to care for, but that's just me.

I don't think anyone has V. intermedius right now... I could be wrong though. If someone has them, It won't hurt my feelings if you get them from them. I won't be getting that many of them anyway. Couple dozen max. So no big deal if you do find them. It will be a month hopefully for me to start finding them...
