| I have a question on the very first picture of the paucidens. I have one as well and i was wondering if its necessary to have all those other things mixed into the substrate? Because all i have mine is beach sand. Its small grained and i bought it from a reptile house. Do you think i need to add anything to it? | |

| Like the small rocks you buy for the bottom of your tank. Often have colors. | |

| they kind of remind me of pea rocks... cause i have a 40 lb of those type of rocks in a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium... it only cost me like $4.00 for the bag..
but maybe you could use that instead cause most aquarium gravel has that annoying dye you have to wash off and than theres never 100% assurance you get it all off...
its up to you, im just saying, the pea rocks were much simpler and i did less cleaning on them | |
