What do you think? It is shaped more like an oval than a heart the pectines dont have long feathers. I will try to get a better pic but my camera sucks. The thing is this scorp is huge. way bigger than the ones @ local pet shops. I will try and get something to show physical size

A week ago I bought a male hoping to mate them

the thing is they tried to. What maybe he has been in the pen for too long.

pectines look just like my males. id say male.

The operculum is a much more accurate focus to go by.

Yeah dude its male. Like binky said looking at the operculum it appears to be male as well as the pectines are long.

Though I dont have a pic of my smaller one it is definitely a male. I am gonna try to trade at a local petshop. If not maybe someone here will trade

Try using your camera's macro mode (usually represented by a tulip) and spotlighting the scorp with a flashlight so the camera knows what to focus on.

I'm going to go against the flow here and suggest female -- I can see a heart shape pointing down and the pectines don't look very large.

thats what i was thinking because mine has small pectines and small pectine teeth.

and you guys all said mine looked female along with all the research on sexing scorpions i looked up

i just didnt wanna say anything because im still a noob to this hobby
