 neighboring scorps

i have a enclosure containing a female p.trans then there is a another enclo with a male p.trans(they mated) is it ok that they see each other?(separate enclosure) i wander if its giving the scorpions a stress? but in a daylight they are just staying in under the stones that i placed and when the night comes they walk and walk.. im worried

Errm, i don't think it would be a problem. If you're worried about it, then just move one of the enclosures to another place.

I am currently keeping my male and female Hadogenes Paucidens in separate tanks but next to each other and that hasn't caused any problems.

Just thought I'd add a bit of personal experience. Smile

that wouldn't be much of a problem, i keep my enclosure very close to each other due to small place, my female p.trans doesn't bother much, and now she popped and still there has no problem

They won't be able to see each other anyway. They have very primitive eyes and they wouldn't be able to see another scorpion.

i think they'd be more distressed if they could sense each other's pheromones... but i may be wrong.
still, i've kept many animals in tanks and cages near each other without problems!
