PostSubject: Feeding a pair   2/8/2010, 10:41 pm

I just added my pair of emperor scorpions the other day, and im wondering if there is a specific way i should go about feeding them. Its a male and a female and they seem to get along quite well. They both sit next to each other under there hide and dont do anything else but that. Should i just toss a few crickets down to there hide or do i need to solo them out and feed seperatly so they dont fight?

Over crickets? No. I've yet to see a pair of scorpions fight over prey. (Edit: ok, I've seen one C. sculpturatus try to attack a roach that another scorp already had, but it just gave up and eventually found another roach I put in the container.)

One might be a greedy-butt and eat all the crickets, but eventually it will get full and stop eating the ones that come down.
