is it possible that spinifer will mate a longinus? or a scorp under heteros? spinifer and longi are both hets right?

Thats something that should be tried in a lab, like artificially inseminating one with the other just to see what happens.

The difficulty in scorp hybridization is the shape of the spermatophores -- they combine with the female's genital operculum in a sort of "lock and key" mechanism, so if the key doesn't fit, the lock won't open.

yeah i suppose but if there was a way to fertilize the embryos without the use of a spermatophore then u never know
