Emp molting question

How long does it usually take for an emp to regain its color after a molt? My female molted Nov. 26 and is still brown. XD

Depends on how much heat it is getting. Such as if its near the heat source or how long it wants to be next to it for.

It can vary but they usually go brown/black from the purplish colour after about 3 days.

Odd, she stays between 77 and 80F, and it's been nearly a month. XD

what was the color change?

She was jet black pre-molt, she's now a chocolate brown. She has darkened since her molt, but not completely. I actually wouldn't mind her staying that color, it looks neat. She can't flouresce though. :/

can't fluoresce? Has the exoskeleton hardened yet?

It's been hardened for awhile now.

Update on Tank: I put her under a blacklight today, and she can fluoresce again. Still has her chocolate-brown color though. She seems a lot crankier over the past few days. Other than her attitude and color, nothing out of the ordinary.

That doesn't look like an emp to me. Unless its the light, i can see red chela with granulation, no granulation on the carapace and an overall red colour with reddish orange legs.

Odd, she mated with my male and they get along great. If she isn't an emp, that probably wasn't a successful mate. It'll be interesting to see if she is gravid.

its just interesting because if you can see what i mean by comparing it, it just looks red all over
