Lifting up Burrow

Hey guys, I'm new, got my first emp a week ago. Since she is not eating or coming out of her hide I have been lifting her burrow(a piece of cork bark) up once a day to check on her. She is always fine and I'm sure soon I will get out of the habit. I'm wondering how often you guys check up on your emperor? Is it too stressful to do a quick lift of the burrow once a day to make sure everything is alright? Any tips or tricks would be great! Thanks

You shouldn't lift it very often.
Your emp will be fine so just try and leave it be for a while

Instead of lifting the burrow get a torch and give it a little shine down there would be better, or better yet a blacklight and see your scorpion glow!
