Hey guys! This may be another noob post but maybe not! I've read that to de-mite your substrate you cook it in the oven for 30 min at 300º. Now, if that is going to kill bacteria, mold etc., could I just do that to my old substrate for the sake of not wasting? Or should I really get brand new stuff? Currently using the petco block coir with some reptibark as an accent because it looks so damn good and some moss on top. Bark and coir good to go in the oven?

I reuse stuff all the time if it still looks clean. (No gross / dead bugs / scorp-o-poo.)
