 Weird orange stuff...

Had these scorps a week or so now, and I have noticed this orange stuff on one or two.

This is my s. mesaensis.

Yes, no prob. I'd be more worried about the black spot between the fixed and flex fingers on it's right palp. Looks like a small spot of mycosis, nothing too bad but mind the RH of the enclosure so as to prevent more mycosis.

RH = Relative Humidity = amount of moisture in the air (this also goes for how moist the substrate may be)

OK, it is just on dry sand right now so I assume that will stop the spread?

Thus far, I am unaware of anything that really stops mycosis but yes, it should be fine. That's a really small amount of mycosis, I've gotten wcs with missing limbs and such. I hope you have good care info for that sp. I'm familiar enough to maybe do good in keeping that sp but have otherwise not cared much for the genus and therefore never dedicated any time to it - that is to say, I have very little to offer as to the proper care of it.
