| I know what you're talking about, lived here nearly all my life. There are just individuals whose motto is, "If you're American, you're big and tough and must hate the wussy French and Canadians." I'm sure this is different in parts of the US, but in areas that believe in this, a lot of it has to do w/ their egos. Plenty of nationalism occurring, such as beliefs that America is and the strongest country and we'll blast you to ashes if you mess with us, blah blah blah. Sounds ridiculous, but I've experienced this many times and will probably have many more experiences. Most or all of it is plain ignorance and a need to show superiority over others. Don't be offended by it either, definitely not worth it
Just to add: not all of us are like that!

| It's 'cause we're jealous of Canada and know we'll never be as cool. In all seriousness, the only time I make fun of Canada it's good-natured, like ribbing a friend or something. And I think the "Cadadian-hating American" is mostly a redneck stereotype. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

| The civil war? That was us fighting ourselves. The song in South Park was because Kyle's mom sucks, and they would rather blame a Canadian film for making their kids swear instead of taking responsibility as parents. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

I have to agree with you on that one! However, the MOST unintersting subject has got to be RE . I hate it so so much. |
