Check out what I found in my Ambly tank

I'm borrowing a friend's male (visible in picture 1) and it looks like he did what I was hoping he would.

When he first met with the female, there was a bit of a standoff -- holding out pedipalps as if to say "I'm spikey! Back off!" The night before I found this we could see someone's antenniform legs moving about and thought they may be mating.

I have always wanted to get me one of these, just never had a chance to snag one up

I checked on them tonight and found a second one! So it looks like he needs only a week to produce a new one. One of the spermatophores was missing its "head."

I really need to return him -- I was over last night and forgot.
