I have no clue what instar he/she is ...

Is it even a red claw? I don't see any red.

I had a pair that were quite brown as well. The color varies from specimen to specimen.

My one had no red on it what so ever but it was still small, so it is probably a cavimanus but like what has been said, depends on the specimen Very Happy

as it grows up you may see more of the red!
they're stunning as adults (or at least mine are lol), with the blue-black sheen in daylight and red claws!

This scorp actually burrows! It dug one all the way down to the bottom! None of my other scorps even attempted that, so I'm pleased Smile

Yeah, my baby emps did that but they've dug an entire system with several tunnels going right to the glass on the tank
