It's exactly this sort of thing that makes the hobby look bad, when people do foolish things and wind up getting hurt.

Hobbyists in some parts of the world already have a hard enough time with local laws . . . take the UK for example, where the whole of family Buthidae is banned without a DWA license. If the regulations seem bad now, imagine if someone got one of the banned species without a license and someone died through negligence or carelessness.

Edit: I apologize for the "tapioca" comment, as that was unnecessary and against this forum's rules. I do, however, maintain that there is nothing ballsy or manly about holding an organism that is potentially lethal with only the slightest mishap.

Yes, I often say that a healthy adult will in all likelihood not die from a scorpion sting, deaths DO occur from this species.

And handling Ts is NOTHING like handling scorpions. For one thing, there are NO deadly tarantulas. The species of scorpion featured in this thread, however, has more human deaths attributed to it than any other.

People often thought it's cool when they handle deadly specimen but i think otherwise
They are as foolish as those with brain of tapioca
