| Had these scorps a week or so now, and I have noticed this orange stuff on one or two. This is my s. mesaensis. | |

| Yes, no prob. I'd be more worried about the black spot between the fixed and flex fingers on it's right palp. Looks like a small spot of mycosis, nothing too bad but mind the RH of the enclosure so as to prevent more mycosis. | |

| RH = Relative Humidity = amount of moisture in the air (this also goes for how moist the substrate may be) | |

OK, it is just on dry sand right now so I assume that will stop the spread? | |

I'm familiar enough to maybe do good in keeping that sp but have otherwise not cared much for the genus and therefore never dedicated any time to it - that is to say, I have very little to offer as to the proper care of it. | |
