Best guess is a Liocheles waigiensis but only thing with that is with yours the legs look a bit darker than that Chin Scratch

so the question is which Liocheles spp. looks like a waigiensis but has darker legs, and that's probably your answer. Given it might just be a waigiensis but a dark morph if thats possible.

yeah it looks a bit more matte and monochromatic than my little L waigiensis, assuming mine was ID'ed correctly. usually i trust the dealer with scorp ID's however, so not a bad guess.
so yours is a little different if colour is anything to go by. best i can do at the moment i'm afraid...

Some ppl in this thread have said it looks like a L.waigiensis
http://www.ub.ntnu.no/scorpion-files/l_waigiensis3.jpg

Take a good look at the carepace of that scorpion in the picture
good look at the shape and size of the arms and chela

then look at the scorpion you posted pictures of Very Happy

yep i'm wrong, i haven't really looked into all the spp.'s so i just picked the one it looked closest to what i know Sad but with every correction is a learning experience. Nifty lookin sp though, might have to look into acquiring some.

edit. at least i said it "sort of" looks like a waigiensis, lawl

It was labeled Chinese scorpion.
So I'm guessing it's from China.
Does that help the ID?
