I was reading an online article about scorpions and read this....
Keller warned that scorpions can get inside a house through the smallest of cracks.
"They can fit in a crack the size of a credit card, less than 1/37 of an inch," Keller said.
Can they really get into a space that small? Maybe a baby bark scorpion or scorpling of some other small species..???

Scorpions can get into the SMALLEST of holes. Ive seen them do it. Scorplings are the WORST for escaping! Someone on here lost some b jax I think though the smallest of holes in their container. Ive seen a scorpling jam itself into a small dip in a cork bark hide.
Mice can get into the smallest of holes in a house...so why not a scorpion?

1/37 of a inch?? thats a not true.. i dont that scorps can compress they bodies so they can get througe wholes or cracks that small.. but if the scorps fits the hole.. it can get out..

a secure enclosure for a start.
my small scorpions are all kept in critter keepers which obviously have no silicone for them to grip on.
Another way is not to put the hide in a corner or keep away from the sides in general. Just use a bit of common sense when housing scorpions. If a part of the enclosure looks like they could scale it to get out... alter it!
