| The babies have just come off their mother's back. How long until i can move her into a smaller tank by herself? |

| Even at second instar they still may run back to mom if something startles them. When I separated my female mordax from her brood, there were still three on her. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

| you can just scoop them up with a spoon when they're out in about or use tweezers to pick them off the mum's back (that's what I did, anyway) |

| not really, if there are scorpions moving around her back all the time she probably won't notice to much. *you could also cool her down for a little while" |

| ^^ Put her in the fridge.
The easiest way to keep mom from flipping out is to take her out of the tank first. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |
