| my old female was slightly smaller than my emps. but occasionally you will get a specimen that defies the average length. I saw an emp on Sunday that was nearly the size of a swamerdammi!!!!! |

| I was just wondering because it is tiny, has a blackish telson, very dark red which you can only see in light and the crickets are only just smaller than it! lol |

| Then that means it's a juvenile.
Did you try looking up pictures of adults?
Being a Scorpionidae, it will probably take a few years to mature. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

| Mine was slightly smaller than the current imperators, almost as black with slightly reddish claws. They have a different temperament mind you, quicker moving and more defensive. if I was to need to pick up a cavimus or Op. wahlbergii, I would pick up my wahlbergii! |
