Just got my female cavimanus from BugzUk, she's a feisty one re. the pic below i don't know why she has a gap between her tergites?

The gap looks like an impaction . . . they happen, we're not quite sure why, we're not quite sure how to fix it, and we're not quite sure how dangerous they are.

So they sold me a dud! Figures.... lol

Not really. It just has a flaw or character lol. If its an adult I was wondering how big it is? Mine is a juvi I just want to know how big it will get.

I've had scorpions with this before and they have recovered fine... usually after a break for freedom! but it could also be some sort of impaction as mike suggested.

However if it's feisty then I would hazard a guess that it will be fine

was quite good actually I had forgotten how grumpy they were. she nearly pinched me when I was transferring her to her travel tub.

I have a heterometrus that has the same abnormality. She's doing excellent though, so I wouldn't worry about it.
