At first glance I thought it was just a fat arizonensis.
But then I saw it's metasoma was too thick, and it had a black segment on it.
I had no idea what it was really. But I remembered it as a P.Liosoma
Anyway, the guy had it damp as hell.

Looks like it may be gravid. Have you sexed it? IIRC, Parabuthus have an extra "tooth" on the pectines near the operculum if it's a female. I could be wrong, though -- it's been a while.

Have you given it a look over for mycosis?

So . . . unsexed, but looked over for mycosis?

Good to go. Smile

If you can get a good shot of the pectines, we can probably sex it. Mine was a female (clicky for huge version):

I'll do that in 30 minutes.
I was hoping you could sex it.
Anyone for that matter.

Parabuthus can't be sexed by body shape or chela usually -- you have to look carefully at the pectines.

The clearest deli cup is the least deep and I'm afraid it might climb out and cause trouble.

This is the biggest MS scorpion I've had.

My vote's female.

Awesome.
The chances just got higher for it being gravid.
