Yes Lisa, I watched your video, it is so funny! They are soooo curious, they dash out and peep, then run away.... dash out and peep, then run away and this goes on and on and on. Lol

Is the one you're waiting to pop the new one you got from Martin Goss at the show? I should have got another female myself.

And thanks all for the congrats

How long does it take for this species to go go through all the various instars to adulthood..? Quite a while I would imagine. When I go to a show & see captive bred Scorpions & Tarantula's etc... I am always full of admiration, knowing the time and care involved in raising the youngsters..am I correct?

I personally have only bought adults. So I dont know the actual duration to maturity. However from what I have been told from our good friend Mr. Goss, they grow pretty rapidly. birth to 2i is approx. 7 days. And mine are about to pop to 3i in less than a month from birth.

Growth rate is also dependant on the scorplings being kept in a community until some show signs of cannibalism / territorial. Raised singularly their growth rate is slowed.

However as mine and Leons threads are updated we can get give more accurate (hands on) information
