Hottentotta polystictus ? Minax? trilineatus






Odonturus dentatus?

#1 O dentatus female




#2 O dentatus juvenile



#3 O dentatus male


#4 B jacksoni female


#5 O dentatus male

pics 3 4 5 and 6 look like Babycurus jacksoni to me. but im far from an expert since I dont actually have any haha

I was also going to say that #4 looks like Babycurus, possibly gigas?

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with these genera.

Hello All,
Connie, Mr mordax.

B jacksoni are very similar to O dentatus very very similar.
I think the 4th picture is an O dentatus, as this particular female is only about 1.5-2" long and already holding babies, too small to be a B gigas or B jacksoni.

I have both B gigas and B jacks, and now I hope I have O dentatus.

Look at the telson of 4 and 5 they are not same Sp, 4 doesnt have that extra little stinger da 5 does.. and they allso have differnt granulation on 5th metasoma link.. but better pictures whould be awsome...

I updated my post with some names, there are some O dentatus and one B jacksoni. We still need to find the Hottentotas sp.

Hottentotta polystictus i would go with realy

on the o.d. you can tell them apart from b.jax by the tibial spurs on the legs

B. jacksoni have 1 tibial spurs on legs 4

O. dentatus have tibial spurs on legs 3 and 4

that would make 100% positive id.
