What would happen if a Androctonus amoreuxi stung you? Is it true there is no anti-venom in North America for its sting?

I don't think there is much antivenom for any of the dangerous scorpion species. It would all be (If any) in the areas where the species is causing trouble. even if you DID get stung, you probably wouldn't get to bad. if, however you had heart problems and yu got a really good dose of venom, you would be in quite a bit of bother. i should imagine that most stings are warnings with very little venom used, but if u have health problems you maybe in abit of trouble.

Didn't you post the L.q. sting inquiry thread too? scratch Makes me wonder what you've got in mind . . .

Anywho, as has been stated time and time again, a healthy adult human will most likely not die from any one scorpion sting.

To answer your other question, most antivenoms are manufactured in Europe and typically available only in the countries where the species in question is found.

And A. amoreuxi isn't always included in the list of "dangerous" scorpions.
