CB Hadogenes paucidens

hi all y r CB Hadogenes paucidens so hard two get hold of?

hard to breed? noone bothers to breed them, who knows

when i get hold of a male n a female its my mission 2 breed them lol

Go for it. It's gonna be the best 20 years of your life LOL. But seriously these guys have long gestastion periods and take forever to grow.

well wen i do breed them i may be old but at least i can say i did it lol

I think there aren't many large CB hadogenes because they take so long to reach maturity. I think it cantake up to a year for them to moult from 2nd - 1st instar.

do you mean 1st - 2nd???
a few people on here have baby hadogenes but they havent bred them theirselves...

yeah they have a gestation of 18-20 months

And they grow soooo slowly, However this is a species I would love to breed again, and presently on the hunt for some more paucadins.
In the mean time i will have to settle for breeding the H.troglodytes when mine have matured in about 5 years time!
And that is of course if I have a male in the 2 very little ones I have, got a sub adult female

When i had my old female pop she gave 6 scorplings and they was on around 2-3 weeks on her back.. and sold them before they molted..

Haha settle for breeding troglodytes? I've never even seen one in person.

i fink i found sum CB H.paucidens afta 2 and a half weeks of looking

is says that they r Hadogenes troglodytes but the pic is of the actual animal and it look a lot like H.paucidens eny help?

each wood block has a devide down the middle

good. keep the setup BONE DRY.

so that is fine how it is?

you can always add more flat pieces of rock or wood to keep it more active.

so the more flat rocks and wood the more active the scorp will be?

Usually thats what i've noticed. They dont like to come out in the open so when I stacked a few rocks up I would see it at night move from crevis to crevis.

troglodytes are a very dark brown/black colour

I basically put an inch of sand down, bought some cheap end of range wall tiles... and dropped them on the floor. then stacked them in a way so that there was loads of crevaces for her to hide in
