| above matter refers.. my bathroom is under construction due to some leakage with the waterproofing.. d works will be ongoing for 3 days starting from today.. they have to hack d whole bathroom floor which is 5' x 12' n the noise is unbearable.. would d noise n vibration do any harm to my scorps? btw, d bathroom is next to d room whr i keep my scorps.. | |

| Scorpions feel vibrations. Loud bangs and soft bangs they will feel. I cant image it will do them too much harm but if you can try to sound proof them, such as towels over their tanks to try to absorb some of the vibrations | |

| done.. i layered some styrofoam n towels underneath, and covered their tanks with a blanket throughout the convulsion.. hope they wont be mad at me.. | |

| ^I doubt that.
Excessive loud thuds and vibration would likely cause them stress and I know at least one person in Europe who not only lost a brood, but then lost the mother of the brood due to neighbor's loud fireworks.
The soundproofing that Connie suggested should be your best bet, unless you can move them to a portion of the house further away from where the work is occurring. | |

| I dont think it will be a big problem as long as it doesnt last long. I'm sure theres no construction at night right? That gives it some resting time. | |

i moved 1 tank to another room, but i cant move my 5' tank.. it's too heavy.. btw, d hacking stopped today at 3pm, from then on it's only tiling works.. not so noisy! scorps be happy again! | |
