| lol it looks like a cross between a c.keyserlingi and a diplocentrus spitzeri! it has the bulky body of the keyserlingi but the colouring of the spitzeri. I really like the south american species coming into the country at the moment, it's a shame that they carry quite a price tag with them because they are 'rare' in the UK trade fantastic looking little fella | |

| depends on what you mean by "rare". lee @ the spider shop has some rare bothriurids in at the moment, martin goss has some heterometrus species that aren't commonly seen. you could also ask someone who is going to Hamm to bring back something rare.. | |

| they will overheat and probably die!
Unfortunately I lost all my south american species because i couldn't keep them cool enough. we live in a middle flat so we get the heat from all the flats around us. We were struggling to keep the room temp below 21 degree's on a night time. it's roasting in here during the day!
I think if i am to keep them again i will need to invest in a mini fan!

| I find it quite funny that they died of cold lol.
I know chilean species are more sensitive to humidity and temps, but damn thats harsh.
