I heard there is a(or some) scorpion/s that don't have venom

can someone confirm this?

Me neither. Probably a chinese whispers style rumour where a kid told his mum emps aren't venomous so he could have one...

It was an emperor that had a bad moult so was missing the entire telson.

their venom is so mild, it's cud be considered venomless..

Hadogenes are weak, too, but there's still a peptide cocktail in that telson of theirs.

primitive scorpions like brontoscorpio and protobuthus are thought by some to have not had any venom, and i'm sure that somewhere in the evolutionary chain there is a scorpion out there somewhere who didnt really need venom, nd so saved lots of energy by no longer producing it. for some reason, i have a tendency to believe that if this should happen, it would be some sort of highly evolved troglobitic species, but that's just me.

Seem like a possible theory maybe those scorpion not needing venom are what evolved into NON scorpions like psedo scorpions and whip scorpions.

it does seem possible, as scorpions are one of the earliest if not the earliest group of arachnids that some may have evolved into these groups, though it is probably the case that while certain eurypterids evolved into scorpions, others took off and diverged before the rise of the scorpiones order, but hey anythings possible. the subject of scorpion cladistics is currently a very interesting one to me, and some day i hope to be able to put together a large cladogram of scorpion evolution showing the relation of all of the families, as well as the estimated occurence of their divergences etc.

That would definatly be awesome. Something i would love to see soon. They had a pretty interesting show on disovery about scorpion evolution a year or so ago. wish i remembered the name but they showed how they evolved book lungs from gills and became land animals and such. Pretty interesting.
