| I'm on a mission with pictures at the moment... I tried to make this look like a shaft of light hitting him through 'the tree's' by using the flash through the plastic leaves. I think it worked. And I got the tongue flick in focus. But all in all I thought this was a cheeky picture of him, that I thought I would share | |

| he's a desert mexican kingsnake (Lampropeltis getula splendida) 5ft long and about to shed any time now - hence the scabby snout.
and cheers, got some great feedback on my pictures this week. the theme was basically take 2 pictures of something / someone / some place you really like. So collection on hand I've been snapping away. Oh and we had to play around with ISO settings in the process. (the '2' pictures are the best ones you want to submit at the end of the course but you get to upload a few to get peoples opinions - to help you choose) | |

| he's still a big kid as well, he's only 3 years old... awwww I've had him since he was just over a foot long. One of the best snakes I have ever owned, he's as daft as a brush! He has been brought up with the kids so the odd squeeze, occasional poked eye or accidental bash on the head simply doesn't phase him. He doesn't even think about striking back. when we open the viv door he darts straight up your arm, he thrives on attention. And he has helped people get over their fear of snakes because he is such a puppy dog. love him to bits | |
