| Thats a tricky one. The tails looks very centroide like and put the telson has a subucular prong...it semms. | |

| After talking with Canth, apparently there ARE a lot of scorpion species in Mexico, but only one Tityus species.
If it's a Centruroides or Tityus (and some Centruroides have subacular prongs), you can differentiate the two by the number of rows of denticles on the fixed finger of the chela.
Centruroides = seven to nine rows
Tityus = 10 to 17 rows
