as a bark scorpion everybody says they need a invert piece of wood to molt

Maybe it depends on the keeper's environment (temps, humidity, etc). Brian S had about 70% mortality without the bark to molt from -- this percentage dropped drastically when he gave them bark to molt from, and most now molt hanging from the bark.

Maybe the specifics of the environment you're in make a hanging molt unnecessary. I know that with most of mine I find the molt hanging from a vertical surface. *shrugs*

B. jacks are the only "bark" scorpion that don't NEED a vertical piece of wood to molt but they do prefer it to molting on the ground.
