I'm not sure where I went wrong... it's been in a streached out position for at least 48 hours though its still "soft" when I move the legs. Thoughts? suggestions?

It's dead. Nothing you can do at this point.

It's impossible to tell the age of WC adults, so you never know when one will just die of old age.

For future reference, you don't need a water dish for Hadrurus spp.. And if that's a heat-rock, I really don't recommend it for scorps (or any animals, for that matter).

as mike said heatrocks are abominations, use a good 'ol heatmat next time (if you actually need a supplamental heat source, hoe hot is it in your area?)

It's Northern California so it's probably not that cold. I won't use heat rocks for them in the future though, that's for sure.
