PostSubject: Postcards from Malaysia: Alex's Spinifer Collection   10/24/2008, 7:35 pm

Hey ppl... I thought it might be about time to post my pics so here they are... First my Heterometrus spinifer divider tank (4ft; 6 sections). An old friends' dad used it to keep flower horns. Was a free give away. Been a bit slack on the top. Still working out ideas on how to construct it. Maybe you guys could give me some ideas.

Close-ups of each section Sections 1 (adult male, store-bought) & 2 (Group A: largest/furthest of the scorplings)

Ted's pad

Group A

Section 3: Group B (fresh moults, transfered for plumping)

Section 4: Group C (awaiting moults)

Section 5 - Dusun (WC; gender?) and 6 - Bill (adult male; not coming out)

Dusun close-up (Dusun means plantation in Malay; capture locattion)

Now the shelf in the herp room: Scorpion Level

Angie's Pad (Giant adult female; mother of the broods)

She may be gravid now but not sure.

Here are some selections from the photo album Angie

The Twins: Bill & Ted and Dusun

the baby looks delicious,

i have learn a new dark hobby since the last herping,
and for now I hope the venom would not travel fast though I have started thinking about collecting scorpions myself,
to add to that problem, my brother is also addicted to scorpion now.

keep up the good pictures Alex.

err the dimensions well, its a 4-ft long tank, divided somewhat equally into six sections and its basically 1 ft and half, hieght and width, so ya, go ahead steal it, its great for theme settings. I'll take it as flatery. Great for mass breeding, or a collection of large scorpion species.

Only thing is I would rather have 5 larger dividsion than 6 and it would help for it to be a bit taller maybe about 3 more inches. so yea, go crazy....

This is an old post, you Might wanna check out what I'm doing with it now....
