At which instar do scorpions start to fluorescent under blacklight?

I have recently had an increase in my T.stigmurus population. What I noticed, was that the 1.instar scorpions did not fluorescent under blacklight.
When I checked my enclosure today, I noticed that there were only to scorplings left on the mothers back.(actually, there were one on mothers back, and one on the other females back.)

I do not think I want to raise this species outside their enclosure considering their rather nasty venom, so I would like to know how long it will take before I actually can see them in their enclosure again.

They should start to glow slighty at the age of 2 instar.. my B.jacksoni do light up abit but not alot at 2 instar..

They start glowin at 2 instart the reason for this is that at first instart the babies exo serve more as a membrane for osmosis than for protection which is why some people are speculating weather 1I is really 0I and 2i is 1i....anyways.....as soon as the exo hardens it will start to glow. So newly molted scorpions never glow.

Jared had some of these pop recently . . . apparently the mortality from stings in their native range is only around 1% for people under age 14. Above that, mortality drops to around 0.25%.

And yeah, they start to glow at 2I once they harden up.

I wouldn't recommend rearing any bark scorpion in the community -- you'll get higher instances of cannibalism and it's harder to monitor the progress of individuals and making sure each gets the food it needs.

[edit]head aka Shearer aka Jerry from Sweden kept his T.stigmurus communal, and I bought mine from him. He told me I could keep them together without problems.

About the venom. I did not think it was lethal, but I tough thier stings could cause a terrible pain.

It's possible to keep them together, but in my experience 2I of anything but the larger species are much easier to keep track of and feed when kept separate.

I thought that when you mentioned the nasty reputation of the venom, you knew they were medically significant. To a healthy adult it will just be really, really painful. (A 2I probably won't have much of an effect.)

When I removed some bark and stuff in their enclosure, I found all the babies and the adults sitting toghether as a happy family. They had just left their mom before I tough they would do
