(continued from thread below) I went to check on him this morning and he was on his back javascript:emoticonp(' ') Thought he was dead so i waited till tonight to give him a proper burial. When i went to pick him up, he moved. He's still alive! Makes me sick to think that he is suffering!!! I flipped him over, but he's dying for sure. Is there a humane way to end his suffering? Don't even know if i could do it? No one will probably get this till tomorrow javascript:emoticonp(' ') Hate to think he's in pain or something! Don't know what to do?

I was trying to search some threads about death, and i see that some of them "fake death"? WTF! These things are crazy, LOL! Do you think he's faking? Should i just leave him till he doesn't move. Don't want him to suffer!!! How do you know?

Yeah, just read a thread where i believe he said it was on it's back and then flipped over and ran around after he "poked" it. Unfortunately mine isn't running around after i flipped it over. I'm pretty sure he's a done. Anyway, thanks for your help. I'll wait for some more advice. Just don't want him to suffer, but i don't want to put him in the freezer if he's ok? So sad for him! I'm freakin' "mushy" when it comes to animals.

| So i check on him today and he's on his back again, legs and tail movin' all around. That's what makes it look like he's suffering. Anyway, i flipped him over and got him to lay upright. Since i don't really know what to do, i spritzed him with water. I've been spritzing the soil and a little piece of moss to try to keep it humid, but i never sprayed him directly. Now he's a little wet, he is staying upright and calm (not legs flailing and kinda curled up on his side/back) His tail is in the air and he's just chillin' under his hideout. Seem a little better for now. I'm sure he'll be on his back again when i get home from work, (hope not!) but maybe he's dehydrated? Should you ever spray them directly? Keep him a little moist for a while. When i sprayed him, his little mouth (i'm sure there is a technical term for it, sorry!) opened and looked like he was drinking it. My imagination? He's does have a little water bowl. Guess we'll see in the morning when i get home.
If he doesn't get better, is freezing humane? Although a sledge hammer does seem quick, i'm a *edit* and don't know if i can hammer him. Guess i gotta do what i gotta do. Seem like he'd just go to sleep in the freezer/refrigerator? Not sure how to make a CO2 chamber? As always, thanks for any advice!

You can try an ICU to see if he can pull through but it sounds like he's a goner best thing to do is just let him die. But if you wanna try an ICU get a delicup and poke a few holes for vent and some moist paper towels and bump up the temps to 90-95F.
