You can see its eyes through its skin! Weeeeiiiiirrrrrd . . .

As Calum said, make sure you've got the flytrap in at least a couple inches of standing water and that you're keeping it outdoors in a sunny spot.

They're meant to be outdoor plants with a winter dormancy period. Being kept indoors year-round will eventually kill them. When kept properly everything dies off above ground in the winter but all comes back again in the spring.

Who says Venus flytraps can't tolerate freezing temperatures?
At our nursery in Oregon, we grow our flytraps exclusively outdoors. They go dormant during the winter and come right back each spring. We took these photos when the flytraps were six years old in January 2004 (left and center) and August 2004 (right).

the one in the pic has always been inside, yours may not have done wel on heads as we are in a hardiness zone measuring 8. Most ppl dealing with this plant say if you live in hardiness zone 8 or below dont leave them out during winter, you could cut the flower off as they take alot of energy to make

the one i got btw was the one with the least heads, i just liked her lol sonias dad got one with like 30 heads

If you're keeping it in the fridge for a few months, that should be OK -- as long as it gets a few months of dormancy to think it's winter.
