| What are the general signs of a gravid scorpion? So far, I know that a gravid scorpion is significantly larger and I think it wouldn't accept food. Thanks. |

| Sometimes you can see the nerve cord through the intersegmental membrane: And sometimes you can clearly see embryos through the membrane or sternites: _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

| Here's what my 1st gravid looks like. It's a small species. Only 1.5" in length. |

If you have any WC adult females, odds are pretty good that they're gravid._________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blog Be nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

| The female may also kill any tank mates *not always*, as well as refuse food *this is normally the running weeks upto birth* and also be agressive to owner. any movements near the tank etc. As well as physical signs such as the nerve cord. female WC's are nearly always gravid. |
