I think so long as you have the respect buthid, and all scorpions for that matter, you shouldn't have any problems!

Respect is one thing, knowing which species are ok to slip up with is another thing.

There's only one Buthus sp. listed as medically significant, and it's not the one you have. Could just be an edgy species.
