| Hmm pretty sure mycosis in a tropical species isn't suppose to happen? could it of been something else? | |

| yeah... I think emps could only bet mycosis like directly after a moult in super ultra mega humid conditions. or unless they are really weak or something. | |

| they can get it from injuries aswell, so if it had an injury in a humid enviroment before he got it *boom* mycosis is possible lol | |

| Mycosis isn't terribly rare in emps -- if you keep it nice and humid, but with almost no airflow, then it's more likely to happen. That's why I don't like the advice of covering 80% of the enclosure with plastic-wrap or Plexiglass. | |

| If you dump enough water on the substrate, then unless the walls are mesh you should have plenty of humidity at ground level.
Most people place their humidity gauges higher up for some reason, where it's going to be driest. | |

| thats true, but i tend to think of that advice when ppl use ths plastic tanks that are only 6 inches max high as they have slits in the side aswell as a holey lid. i guess best advice is use proper tanks lol | |
