Not sure what's wrong with Oogie Boogie... pls help

My emperor gave birth to 12 scorplings on June 1st. After they came off her back, they were put into a separate tank and are doing great - currently in 3i.

Mom has been doing well since, but has stopped eating. She hasn't eaten anything in about 3 or 4 weeks now. I just thought she was going thru a phase... She is still very active and is drinking.

However, I just got a good look at her, and the area on her abdomen near her tail looks odd. It's swollen on one side. The other side is nice and slim and you can barely see the soft skin (sorry, I don't know the name of that). So, on this "bad" side, the soft skin is very pronounced and there is a large back spot on it. It's not a round spot, more kidney shaped.

Does anyone know what this black spot could be? Or why she would be so swollen on one side?

Could be a dead baby in there...but I doubt it.
Could be an imapaction...not to worry just a scar.
Could be mycosis....that might be a problem.

I'm guessing it is an impaction. Can you get a good pic for us?

Pandinus Imperator not eating, as with any scorpion and fasting for weeks to months is 100% normal

yeah id say impaction, after all its really unlikely to be an emp with mycosis

Emps can get mycosis if the ventilation isn't very good . . . but I agree, it sounds like an impaction. The only problem is I've never heard of a successful way to clear one up.

Mycosis is a fungus, which is fuelled by warmed and humidity...Pandinus Imperator need those two things....just increace air ventilation.
And hopefully your pandinus will be ok!
