does look like a wolf spider. But again im not 100% sure since ive never ever seen one in the "flesh"

Yeah I think it's a wolf spider. Rabidosa rabida or rabid wolf spider.

why would you feed it to your scorpion, especially if you caught it outside, you dont know what it could be carrying, plus that could cause damage back to the scorpion.

Yes, it is wolf spider (Lycosidae), but I dont know what species or genus.
Here you can see how big it is:


Btw, we call wolf spiders also tarantulas, and big hairy spiders like Teraphosa - bird-eating spiders.

I would say it's a Hogna sp. but I don't know if they're native to your country.
