| I am a complete beginner to scorpions and have been given these two to keep as pets. I know they are young (around a month perhaps) and with their tales stretched out they are about 4 or 5 inches long. I was given them in Vietnam (where I live)  |

| At 4-5 inches those are certainly older than a month, those are several years old. As to what species, I'm not versed enough in Asian forest scorpions to help out with that. |

| They look to be either Heterometrus petersii or Heterometrus laoticus. I would need clear, close up pictures of the carapace to make a positive ID.
